Filip Motovunski

Filip Motovunski is a Croatian producer, DJ and audio engineer with over 20 years of experience in hip hop and drum & bass music production, alongside occasional work in house, pop, rock and experimental projects.

His music has been released on leading drum & bass labels such as Ram Records, Bad Taste Recordings, Subtitles Music and Jungle Cakes. His work regularly airs on BBC Radio 1 and features on prominent YouTube channels including Skank & Bass, MA Music, DNB Arena and District Bass. His productions have been supported by artists such as Calyx & Teebee, DJ Marky, Benny Page, Kings Of The Rollers, Ed Solo, Bad Company, High Contrast and many more.

Driven by a long-standing obsession with audio quality and real-world translation - from clubs to radio and digital platforms - Filip has developed a refined approach to mixing and mastering that balances impact, clarity and musical integrity.

What began as perfecting his own releases and collaborating with fellow producers gradually evolved into a fully dedicated professional mixing and mastering practice, focused on delivering industry-level sound without compromising artistic identity.

Alongside studio work, he teaches the mastering module in the third year at the MPA Music Production Academy in Zagreb.
